Our early harvest Frantoio is a true seasonal treat with beautiful fresh flavours of cut grass and pepper and a lushly unctuous mouthfeel. This style of oil is referred to as Olio Nuovo/Novello in Italy - it is bottled almost immediately from the press, while it is still cloudy, to trap in every ounce of goodness. As it is unfiltered and unsettled, this oil has a shorter shelf life than our standard oils (6 months) and is best enjoyed early in the season. When it tastes this good, however, the issue will be using it too fast rather than too slow!
Our grove is located in Tasmania's beautiful Tamar Valley - the pristine air, water and soils here combine to make our olive trees amazingly happy and healthy, ensuring that the products you buy are the best that they can be.
